EcoVadis

How does the EcoVadis rating work?

In a context where sustainability and transparency have become strategic criteria, EcoVadis is the international benchmark. Today, more than 150,000 companies in 180 countries rely on this rating to measure and compare their corporate social responsibility practices.
The goal? To provide a reliable, standardized assessment that allows companies to demonstrate their commitment to their customers, partners, and suppliers.
The EcoVadis methodology is based on international standards such as ISO 26000, the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), and the United Nations Global Compact. It relies in particular on documentary evidence (policies, actions, results).
Each company is given an overall score between 0 and 100, divided into five levels:

  • Insufficient (0-24): very limited approach.
  • Partial (25-44): some actions but gaps.
  • Good (45-64): structured and satisfactory approach.
  • Advanced (65-84): solid policy and significant results.
  • Excellent (85-100): proactive and exemplary approach.

The Lactalis Group is working to reduce its impact on the environment and climate throughout its value chain. The development of the women and men, communities, and regions in which the Group operates is also a key element of the sustainability of its activities. As a leader in the dairy sector, we want to leverage our global positioning to accelerate this sectoral movement.
